Since when has any power saving features been part of overclocking? The whole point of overclocking is to make that chip run as fast as it can. If you want to impliment some power saving stuff at idle, then there is software out there to do that, at least for AMD systems, but im sure there are some for intel ones as well. AMD's cool and quiet will not work when you overclock the processor either, so why the heck are you saying that is a problem on this motherboard. If other boards can do that then great for them, but i think you will find those few and far between.

Any overclocker knows you dont want your overclock to drop at all when you oc your cpu since doing so could give you a false sense of accomplishment since it might not be stable enough. Seems like you guys need to go back to overclocking school. Normally you guys do good work, but this article is proof that you guys are spewing garbage out your arse.

Actually Intel chipsets can use EIST and overclock at the same time, disabling EIST and C1E is always recommended for finding a stable OC, but once thats found they can be enabled and in most cases work fine.
