i think the same about quality and the products need at least 5 to 8 bios releases to functon properly with widely spread memory.(not only asus)
so you buy it and 2-3 month later the product works like it should on first day,or like they advertise on box.
tested 4 different p45 mobos and only one could reach over 500fsb,with a 600fsb proven cpu on x48 and even old p965.(maybe me is faulty-i dont want to exclude that)
msi p45d3 for example states on box an fsb off 2000 and ram 2000mhz only in oc mode but not even 400 was stable.(talking only dualcore)
tony from ocz mentioned that p45 is not a volt-up and go anymore,(you have to play with skew and so on)but what sense is in it when nearly every p35 hit nearly or over 500fsb in reviews whitout the need off much volt.
and this with last chipset for socket lga775??
but you could have luck and get a p45 mobo with 600fsb and 2000 ram like you see on forums.
