don't be surprise in result when u pair X25M with Promise SATA300 TX4302 .It becuase Promise SATA300 TX4302 is a PCI card (PCI slot with normal clock rate 33 MHz can deliver 133 MBps Only !!!) so Why don't u use ICH SATA port instead ? Maybe it show diferrent result .or use PCIE 4x ,8x Controler instead ???
