when playing clear sky, I have ever setting maxed out, but AA and grass density detail. I get 70-90 frames but it will still jump around ever so often. any clue why, or is it just not optimized. I have quad-SLI with 9800GX2's.

Great review. The 4650 DDR2 performs much slower compared to the 9500 GT than I would have expected, I am very surprised it didn't do better despite the slower DDR2 memory.

Very informative! What this shows is that the 4670 is the card to look for in a HTPC - superior video & 2D performance/power consumption with some 3D skills. I would love to see one or two of the silent HIS cards included as well, like the 512MB and 1GB models of the isilence 4670, and maybe the ICE4 TurboX model of the 4670 to show the upper-limits of what the RV730 is capable of with overclocking.

This review seems to indicate that the 9500 GT generally performs better than an HD 4650, which is the exact opposite of every other review I have come across on the internet. More information (clockspeeds, amount of memory, ddr2 or ddr3, etc) on the 9500 GT tested here would be appreciated since a friend of mine is in the market for one of these low budget cards and I hope to give him as well informed an advice as possible.

Thank you for your time.
