Looks like that Zalman going to close his CPU coolers business. CNPS9900 was a big fiasco and new CNPS10X is a not good thing too.

i never liked Zalman because they where always way overpiced and hyped,they lost being number one cpu cooler brand a long time ago and now they are still being beaten.

Gratz on the test guys, very good methodology. If you would have a normal IFX-14, poor performer, than your site would be the absolute reference in cooler testing.

CNPS7700-Cu was THE Zalman cooler, and THE cooler to get. Ever since, they went down the road of overpriced exclusive products that couldn't even compete with high-end HSF from other manufacturers. Self-proclaimed kings of air cooling. Their water cooling is joke, too. Sad, very sad. That said, this cooler, even though a decent performer, seems like the last attempt of the dying monster. Too late, way too late.
