Why the obsession with cool hd's? It's not like a cpu - you aren't going to overclock it and hence need to keep it as cool as possible.

Most HD's are designed to work up to 55 degree's, and I bet you have no data that shows keeping them any cooler then that makes the slightest bit of difference. As this case keeps them significantly cooler then that I don't understand how you can say the case is not capable of supporting multiple hard disks?

Sorry but 55 celcius temps for HD'S are not good for its lifetime. it should be around 25celcius.
I prefer case with bigger fans less noise more airflow then instead these case's with uber small fans.

While there is some data that suggests that temperatures do shorten HDD life, 55 celcius isn't that hot (139 Fahrenheit). If you were running a server that was accessing drive most near 100% most of the time, you would want it to run cooler. But this is not a problem for home PCs is any serious way. (Seriously, who buys $150 dollar cases with red lights all over them but doesn't get a new, larger hard drive every three years?) I think the complaint of the article is reasonable (Seriously, I spend $150 for a case with red swirly fan lights and it doesn't have decent air circulation around the fans?) but in practice, 55 degrees isn't any worse for a hard drive under normal conditions than red fan lights.
