2. Hi,
the article is vers good.
I pay attention of your guidelines, but a update of my BIOS is not possible.

I want to update the AMI-BIOS GA-7IXE4.F7 to GA-7IXE4.F9 or
GA-7IXE4.F8.
It doesn't matter if I using the tool @BIOS or the original FLASH-Program.
After approximately 12% the update stops and then there will happend
nothing, without any error-messages.

The AMIBIOS-Setup Utility Ver 1.2.3 (1999) containing default values. There
is no exotically entry.
Any thoughts on this is appreciated.

P.S: My configuration:

AMD Athlon 900 MHz (now higher frequency ratio 110MHz). - But nevertheless, normal clocking parameters brought no improvement.

RAM: 512 MB (128, 256, 128).
==> The last one seems to be defect (clock error). I bought a new SDRAM and this is the reason for the BIOS-Update. The new SDRAM is not recognized by my board/BIOS!

I went through the article but my motherbard code saolano Brand SST type 49LF002_V4 it says bios cannot be flashed and before i checked through another AMI's software it says tag.dat and man.dat are corrupt i am having problem installing the windows operating software some time after windows boots nothing is displayed on the desktop what is the problem please can you help me if by email send me suggestion at meaze.jha@gmail.com is ther no backup in BIOS so that the corrupt bios can be re written please help.
