Wow, that is a slap in the face to pc manufactures and users. I have a mac mini with the 9400 graphics unit and I thought that apple is suppose to be great. I have only used the thing twice and it just sits in the box. "Apple uses the best technology for their computers" really? Don't you mean overcharge for average hardware?

i've always seen macs to be outdated as soon as they are released. but every doctor and businessman i see at the airport has a macbook air, so they must be the best, right?

ive ripped apart a few g4's and stuff, they do seem to be well built... i dunno, they still seem pretty useless though--compared to a PC.

dooh MAC is a freaking PC, it has a x86 cpu, a standard DirectX/OpenGL graphics card, and DDR2 RAM, its just more expensive due to the gay fuit on the front on the products

I think the reason why Jen-Hsun Huang, the head of nVidia, uses Apple products is not the cost. It is what Apple provides. Actually the price of Apple products is reasonable if you count up all the innovation features. Lenovo Thinkpads are raved for their reliability and their keyboard layouts. While people rave about Apple is only their price which is wrong. Apple has a keyboard layout that is not skimped on while being mobile, a "true" 16.7 million color display, up to 8 hours of battery life, greener construction and this includes a metal housing that can be recycled, over sized touch pad that just works for scrolling and gestures. Sure Apple systems are now 80x86, but the real difference is Apple picks hardware that works together properly that has the fewest conflicts. Other companies have to provide firmware or BIOS updates to fix issues, but they lose interest fixing the issues because they have too many system versions to fix.

The reason why people have Lenovo Thinkpads is mainly businesses provides their employees with these systems because they are better than Dell's business line of notebooks. I have used both. Thinkpads are better. Lenovo's customer support is better from what I read from consumer reports. After dealing with Dell's customer support, I would say that consumer reports are right.

This guy lost it! Over 95% Nvidia buyers are gamers that use Windows and he praises Apple?!?!?

Never had to worry about gaming and never had to worry that the manufacturer of the product powering my 3D graphics doesn't care about my gaming experience.

Fact;

1-Nvidia's making great graphic chips. I'm using a GTX 285 that played anything I throw at it at max quality @ 1920x1080 for more then a year. It still doesn't feels like my card is outdated, WOW!

2-Nvidia's drivers are very stable and almost fun to work with. Every update really brings more performance and fix most of the bug.

3-Nvidia has an aging VGA cards line-up and still seems to have problems implementing GDDR5 memory banks on their cards. GT200 chips are getting older and ATI keeps offering new cards with better price/performance ratio.

My thoughts: Nvidia's chairman is not in a position to praise anyone on the innovation department. Huang chan's multiplying the stupid comments and declarations in the past year. It would serve Nvidia better if he'd focuse more energy & investments in the R&D department.
