Desperate nVIDIA ... Trying to do anything to convince a few undecided buyer to wait for the "holly grail" called Fermi . Oh come on dudes ... After parading a mock-up and saying it was only a mock-up some days later after the Radeon 5870 Reviews frenzy was cooling down, no unofficial info from nVIDIA has any credibility. Ok, ok ... it's an interesting architecture. We'll buy it when it hits the shops. But, for now, enough FUD.

Niiice. Now all we could do is wait three more month for this item show limited top-notch edition and limited availability in dedicated it shops. Mainstream parts will be available later in dedicated time  ... much later after all that gt200b rebranding show it's prime.

*blinks* ... I think this is the first time I've ever seen Xbit labs cover a faked setup as a factual event.

We covered Nvidia questionable items back in 2003.
Problem is whether we like certain issues as a company or not

The 5770 isn't that long nor does it have an 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe connector.

MUHahaaha nice one ibmas400, going by NV's current reputation (what little they have left) that would not surprise me one little bit

I fully expect that the card pictured isn't exactly operational. I suspect it probably is the form factor, PCB, and heatsink design Fermi will carry if Nvidia is able to ship the card. However, what many people will point out is that there's a second system visible in the upper portion of the photo and a sound card is blocking the view of the graphics card. The position of the cables also seems to indicate that the upper system is the one that is actively hooked up (take a good look at the grey cables).

Given that Nvidia has as of yet, as I understand it, failed to show investors that Fermi works in the likes of an Ikos box or other hardware gate simulation device, I'd question whether or not Fermi is actually complete.

The only way I would put any weight behind what Nvidia is doing with fermi is if they sent a card to the Nouveau developers. http://nouveau.freedeskto...3b8604f552e9f2da14c4b993f
