The most unique feature of this board is the 3.5 in USB 3.0 adapter that plugs into the internal USB 3.0 port. There are still few cases now with front USB 3.0 connectors, and even most of them don't come with the necessary internal connector.

I guess the high-end motherboards with the older socket, lga1366 (Nehalem prosessors), are about 15 - 30 % faster than these lga1155 Sandy Bridge motherboards. LGA2011 with Sandy Bridge Extreme and Ivy Bridge is coming later.
