As usual, you take a product and overclock them in the ways most 'enthusiasts' will use them, and then give us the differences in popular programs while also the power usage so we can make up our own mind about what is most advantageous for us. That is the best kind of 'review', imho, and you always bring the pertinent information in spades. Much appreciated. Keep up the great work.

BTW, I look forward to a 28nm core speed/power consumption/per small voltage bump (or decrease) write-up when any such product arrives. I really found the one for the 5850 (which could be applied pretty much to AMD/nVIDIA's entire 40nm range) very informative and well laid out.

basically they have a lot of leakage on this core, hence the huge power draw and heat


also metro 2033 should be taken out, it doesn't even use multiple cores, it'll never run fast on any system

Good review, but in total it is sad to read too much "bias".

--> Why would this board need to fulfill the same standards for
a) Intel boards e.g. when it comes to BIOS (what is so bad about it? How often are you in the "BIOS"? So who cares if it has a fancy GUI?)
b) the Enthusiasts e.g. REALLY? The Llano´s targeting enthusiasts?
c) your "external" need for color? Tastes are different, deal with it.

Is not the real quality "inside" the board? High-quality components etc.
I really like that you still point out the positive aspects, however not before giving at least 10 sentences in the first 3 pages on how you expected more and why this board, the engineering team and so on blah blah is/are oh so bad or out of their mind...

Keep this bias out of it and you really have a nice objective review. Grade A quality then.

This way it is simply a "subjective" review (Intel-fan-biased)
