It is not valid to compare 240GB SSD's with 120GB SSD's. Larger SSD's perform better. And, what a surprise, the winners were all the 240GB units. Come on xbit, surely you know this. I expect better from you.

actually for the price of 1 240GB ssd you pay almost the same as 2 120GB ssd (the price scales almost liniar) so you could just put them in raid 0 and almost get twice the performance.

well, it doesn't really change the point, does it?

i would also be interesting in this kind of comparison on similar terms, not the current varying sizes.

all the ssd-s in the article have 120gb and 240gb versions, all of them of either size would be normally comparable.

by the way, after some attempts with getting 2 ssd-s into chipset raid on several different motherboards... that's not as good and easy of an option as you may think. and good raid card will require a free pci-e and a separate raid card (which is not very cheap).

I just wanted to make a post that because of terrible reviews such as yours that I bought a ocz vertex 3 max iops drive. I cannot understand how all you can be concerned about is running a couple of benchmarks programs and not testing the stability of these drives. They have MAJOR KNOWN problems and many people including me face constant freezes and blue screens. When you do things like this and don't even update the review to show the problems that people are experiencing, it ruins the entire credibility of your review site and no one will listen to it next time.
