I think that before Haswell microarchitecture, even the Sandy Bridge microarchitecture and its Ivy Bridge production method, that already has the 22 nm process, is a substantial development. Besides, Haswell is maybe 5 years away. Ivy Bridge will allow a lot more powerful phones and netbooks and deeper PC gaming, and it is coming out during about 15 months. Skylake microarchitecture will succeede Haswell, and that will be just ridiculous.
