No measurement of sound or temperature?

Samsung drives are the quietest and coolest running drives I have ever used. I was once an avid Seagate fan and refused to buy anything else. I swapped all my Seagate drives out for Samsung drives. I have two 1TB Samsung F1 drives, two 1.5TB Samsung F2 drives and a 1TB Samsung F2. All nearly silent and all run between 20C and 22C idle.

Its nice to see some 'updates' when it comes to comparing recent drives, I for example did not know that there were 3 versions of WD Black drives ...

Generally very nice and helpfull review but IMHO it lacks two important drives, Samsung F3 HD103SJ (1BT) and maybe not so old Seagate 7200.12 (1TB) drive.

Something must be wrong with the those power consumption graphs - apparently the Caviar Green uses more power when Idle than reading and writing...

Useful work here, for instance warning of weirdness with the WD GreenPower and Hitachi - but you've presented benchmark results you know cannot possibly be correct on multithreaded performance as well... for "skeptical" substitute "impossible"! Did you contact the writer of the benchmark?
