I've installed the Windows 8 preview. I can't say I like the Metro interface, I also don't like the idea of being forced to buy apps from the Windows store. They've tried to dumb down the UI and have been successful, but I don't want dumb.

I'm using Windows just because of gaming.
I'll switch to i5+Z68 in a couple of weeks, with a MB which was confirmed to support PCI passthrough, so if I can use my PCIe Radeon in a VM, Win7 will remain solely for gaming, leaving my browsing and other stuff for the linux host.
So upgrading will bring little benefit.
