But they haven't even got the drivers worked out for their current cards yet!

I've heard it has problems with Flight Sim 2004, Homeworld2, Tomb Raider, in addition to all the problems listed in the last review. Ugh.

Good hardware was all that mattered in the SVGA era. Once windows came out good drivers mattered. Ever since OpenGL and Direct3D games have been popular good drivers have been more important than the hardware.

I'd rather have an "obsolete" DX8 level GeForce4Ti with good drivers than a "modern" DX9 XGI card that can't run 20% of the games and of those that do run 50% of them don't work right.

Ye right, drivers are more important then performance in the mid-low segment of market.
They will never get nvidia(5200) or ati(9200) because even if they could run faster (like xabre 400) the games arent playble (grphics problems or even run. No fuzzy graphics or other problems with ati or nvidia at least not that alot :)

What an idiot, do you even read Microsoft's DirectX specifications? Are you just a lame 15 yr old who thinks he knows stuff and he doesn't.

Did I not say there will be a 2nd gen XGI product on its way?

First gen products always suck...They really shouldn't release them into the retail market.
