I think that at least %50 of the people who stated that they see no value in 3D equipment have not yet experienced it. The first time I put the glasses on at PAX I was hooked.

I purchased a Samsung 3D TV that came with 3D glasses free.
The only reason I have it is because 3D was just one of the features in the model I selected. There was no model with similar feature that did not have 3D. I've used the feature a few times, but there is a dearth of content available.
