Why would anyone buy this mobo for $130 when they can buy a Gigabyte mobo for the same price or less that doesn't have all of the technical short comings?

While having an installed BIOS that supports the FX chips is nice, nothing else about the board makes it better than other mobos that can have the BIOS easily updated for FX CPUs. I expect all new mobos shipping as of 11/11 (or earlier) should have the proper updated FX BIOS so even this will be a moot point in a month.

Biostar has never been that great of a mobo. If this borad was $79.95 it would be semi-acceptable if they fixed the BIOS issues but it's not even plausible at $130 IMO.

FWIW, all of the mobo makers are struggling to provide a quality, full-featured BIOS for the Bulldozer based CPUs because of the new architecture. You would think that the mobo makers would at least OC their own mobos to check for issues and stability but it's like they've never heard of OC'ing when it comes to the BIOS for the Bulldozer architecture. More rushed-to-market products so consumers can be unpaid beta testers.

I have on of these motherboards, and it has alot of great feature, and, i think it was worth every penny. The new update even adds SLI support, so, what features doesn't this thing have? And all you Intel fanboys can go suck it, i am not an AMD fanboy, but i not rich enough to afford Intel, and its monopoly.

i dont get it, i have this board and have no problem over clocking, i have my fx 4170 in this 4.2 ghz oc'd to 4.7 no problem, voltage doesnt drop when running prime95. i have i nice big heatsink and the temps never go above 50c. i bet even better results with water cooling. only conculsion i can think of is either intel fan boy or incompetent overclockers cause im an oc newb.
