Sandforce and their problems. I'd stick with Marvell aka Crucial M4.

You're gonna get petrified, when you read, what Seagate and WD did to warranty to their HDD on top of their flood + speculation related price bubble. Remember, denial doesn't change reality. Heh heh heh. Sorry for that, there's nothing funny in not being able to buy a HDD for a decent price with decent warranty anymore.

No one is gonna crucify me. I don't have any control over HD or SSD companies.

The HD makers are just increasing profits at the expense of consumers. Nothing new there. That's why they jacked HD prices after the typhoon in Thailand. Financial greed drives most companies, not ethics.

There are many companies in business that provide good products without extorting consumers. There is a difference between making a profit and price gouging because you have a monopoly. What goes around often comes around. It just takes time.
