Excellent review, I am planning to build a PC precisely with either Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 or Asus M4A89TD Pro/USB3. As usual when a new PC is built from scratch there are a lot of details to take care of. Processor, Memory approved for that processor, the CPU Cooler or heat sink, the case and other components. I am planning to build a PC with 8 MB of RAM and want to know what is better 4 x 2GB kit or 2 X 4GB kit if this last one is available. The issue is because in one of the motherboards there are problems to acomodate the 4 2GB in the slots because of the heat sink size required for AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE. Below is the configuration that I am trying to build.

Motherboard (one of the above)
Processor AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.2 Black Edition
Memory Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2) 10600 TW3X4G1333C9A
Video Sapphire ATI Radeon HD5750 Vapor-X or any 5850
PSU Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 750W Gold 80plus certified
CASE Thermaltake Element V Black Edition

I will appreciate all the help that you can provide.

Usually, 2x4GB is more stable and overclockable configuration
