Great article. I feel that HD7970 would still be a better value even at $600 (assuming real world pricing is higher than MSRP). You'll get none of the SLI/CF scaling issues and also the 7970 can overclock 20-30%.

Looking forward to your review of the HD7970 (and perhaps you can add the benches from the GTX560 Ti 2Win to compare).

Unfortunately, our LGA 2011 new test platform is not compatible with the EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 2Win.
We have tested HD 7970 against GTX 580 and HD 6970 on the LGA 2011 already and the review coming soon

Great! I hope you guys include overclocking results as HD7970 is a great overclocker. Some reviewers have gotten 1165mhz on air cooling alone without a voltage bump.
