Hi, could u add a picture or point me where to find the following diode u talk about? "Let’s make a few measurements to illustrate our discussion. There is a thermal diode not too far from the chipset North Bridge. You can check its readings in the GA-EP45T-Extreme mainboard BIOS and monitor using special utilities, such as CPUID hardware Monitor, for instance. "
I'm having an issue with only the MCH Temperature goes sky rocketing to 90 celsius right after turn it on the power.
I wonder if the contact between the monster heatsink and the NB chipset isn't working at all.. or if I have a faulty sensor may be? Also could you provide any feedback about what to use in order to replace the gigantic NB cooler with a different kind of heatsink? with a fan? Thanks a lot.
PS: I have all my settings to auto, and never raise any single voltage.
