can you tell me, please, what memory type, brand and bios settings were used for those tests?
it's very important, i've got ECS P4SPA - but when i've runned memory tests in Sisoft Sandra it has reported a very poor performance of my system (around 300MB/s and 450MB/s - results for the read/write tests - the same results are in AIDA32). I've got 256MB DRR(266). Those tests results are awful, even the systems running on SDRAM have better perrformance than mine.
I've send some e-mails to ECS and SIS but they didn't answered. A friend of mine has the same problem with the same motherboard, i've also find one person through the internet who has it too.

Excellant review of all three boards!! THANKS.

NOTE: I have and very much use and enjoy the MSI 6533 Board. It came in a MEDION Brand Computer I bought in 3/2003. It's a Pentium 4 @ 2405mhz (478 processor), with a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX440 AGP 64mg ram w/ Video Out. It has 2 Drives, 1- WD 60gig for XPSP2 OS and 1- Seagate 120gig for dedicated video production. I upgraded the system with 1-gig of KByte PC2700 DDR RAM, a Diamond 7.1 Sound Card and and a Pinnacle DC10 Video In/Out Capture Board. It also came with a Realtek RTL 8139 Net Adapter for DSL and Firewire.

I've run this poor little computer to the brink !!
It reliablely runs Nero 7, Coreldraw/Paint 12, Pinnacle 10.7, MS Ofice 2003 and much much more. Just wantrd to brag about the Quality and Durability of this machine, it never ceases to Amaze me!

The ONLY drawback is The MEDION Computer Company itself, they suck! (Enough of that).

It's about time to upgrade to a New System finally and with your comprehensive reviews can you suggest a Quality, yet inexpensive Value sector offering decent functions along with a very attractive price system that can get me through the next 4 years? (ONLY NEED CPU)

Thanks for your time,

Fred Caswell
