GTX 670 is almost as fast as 7970 if not equal. But generally they are equal only provided in gaming functions. 7970 leaps ahead in GPGPU tasks.

Ya, true. HD7970 OC is better for 2560x1600. But 1080P/1200P are more popular resolutions for these single GPUs I would say. Also GTX670 is cheaper.

What terrible chart, I am pretty sure the 7950 does not perform the same across all those games, thus those performance gaps would be less glaring in some instances. How biased

It's a relative performance graph. The AMD card is always 1 and the NVidia card shows how it preforms relative to the AMD for each game.
