No Starcraft 2 benchmarks

I mean, I realize that SC2 isn't the most GPU intensive game, but I play it so much that I enjoy seeing those numbers.

"If next generation games use DirectCompute for graphical effects and contact hardening shadows, it's not going to look good for the GTX680."

Fast and simple reply:

"If next generation games use High Tessellation for graphical effects and modeling entities of game engines (yeah!, this is NOW and more in the future), it's not going to look good for the AMD camp."

Your assertion isn´t supported with real facts (except that you consider a "Gaming evolved" game as Dirt Showdown as a "neutral fact" for your theory).

But my assertion is supported with soooo many REAL facts, that your assertion likes more about the wet dream of a fan than anything.

Oh really? In case you haven't noticed HD7970 1050mhz beat GTX680 overall and HD7970 GE CF completely creamed GTX690. If games get more demanding, 680 will fall apart even faster. 192GB/sec memory bandwidth, falls flat on its face with 8AA in SKYRIM and Batman AC.

Sorry but your comment at me has 0 facts. HD7970 GE is the faster card and it pulls away even more with 1.2ghz overclocks. You may want to pay attention to reviews at Xbitlabs:

Your 680 gets owned so hard, it has nothing left but Lost Planet 2 where it has a good win (which ironically is alongside Hawx 2 as the most biased NV game).

Until we have displays without bezels, surround sound gaming can stay with the few and the proud. On a side note I agree fully about the small BUS on the 600 series cards. My old 7900GT KO had a 256bit BUS, but then again AMD/ATI just only recently switched to a BUS higher than 256bit with the 7000 series.

To be honest 2x7970 on 3 monitors is perfect and more than half the price of 2x690 cards....

I have not seen any MST hubs available anywhere online. Can you tell me what "shops" are selling the much awaited Displayport 1.2 MST HUB?

Great test ! I,m on the market to setup my 1rst multimonitor experience and still keep wondering what is the best card I need to purchase to push my 3 monitors (portrait/lamdscape) experience to its best...Seems that my heart is once again falling in the AMD side...

Good grief... Please at least read through it before you publish an article...
Eyefinity not infinity...
http://www.amd.com/us/pro...logy/Pages/eyefinity.aspx

and 690 not 490...

I found those errors extremely distracting from an otherwise well written review... although I would like to see 3 and 4 gpu comparison on the AMD side.

See if their driver scales as poorly as nvidia's
