Now that you mentioned the Christian context, the black bitten apple is sinful. The apple symbolizes the forbidden fruit and Apple wants people to taste it in a sinister Neoliberal manner. The black color symbolizes danger of death and the wants the consumers to do the wrong thing for personal pleasure.

the bitten apple symbolizes the original sin of Adam and Eve and is generally anti-religious

nvidia & gigabyte also have the eye logo, as do qualcomm snap dragon, powercolor devil 13, asus & some others. the eye represents the symbol of Antichrist, the all seeing eye, its also on the dollar rofl

The whole system is rigged, companies with the eye logo or links to the all seeing eye, tend todo better e.g. apple shares, also have a look at tobacco, food & beverage companies etc. its the same story everywhere, i usually avoid them like the plague.

I was under the impression that the type of fruit in the bible was never actually mentioned there and the idea of it being an Apple was just something people in Europe said. So if these people are really religious wouldn't they be aware of that ? Doesn't that render the whole thing moot ?

You're correct as far as I know. In some cases, the fruit has been said to be a pomegranate. In one depiction I have seen, it was a phallic-looking papaya-esque fruit. With all do respect to these Christians, they haven't a case.

I am an Orthodox Christian (Greek) but I think that priests must mind their own bussiness instead of chasing ghosts. Keep also in mind that I do not like Apple but I do not like any kind of fanaticism also.
