Nvidia cards are way to expensive vs the AMD cards, the AMD cards are faster in compute and the same in games vs nvidia, yet they cost a 100 less in most cases.. i think the fanboys are to blame here, noobs swallow the green stuff like no tomorrow.

nvidia loves spraying the green stuff on fanboy faces.. Yuk

Didn't you see this week, NV denied RMA support for MSI 680 Lightning and EVGA Classified because these firms made custom after-market cards with over-voltage support? Instead of criticizing NV for neutering enthusiast features that AMD gives for free on all their reference cards, NV fans spun it against MSI and EVGA without realizing it is NV that's pulling the rug under their AIB's feet. NV is smiling and propping up their gross margins with reduced RMA costs. This of course begs the question of how high the quality of the silicon for Kepler is if it can't take any voltage increase above stock without negatively affecting its long-term reliability? Is NV afraid that if MSI Afterburner was unlocked for Kepler cards that they would have a handful of blown VRMs on 600 series ala GTX570/590?

It'll be interesting to see the reaction on this site after Xbitlabs includes more AMD Gaming Evolved titles in reviews since NV has now lost Far Cry 3, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, Medal of Honor Warfighter and Hitman Absolution to AMD Gaming Evolved program. It's going to be hard to make a case that none of these titles should be tested since it looks like a list of very good games.

It's always good news for consumers when prices drop. With Vishera only weeks away the AMD GPU card price drops should make a lot of people building new systems, very happy.

Prices for the 7850 will probably drop even more when Oland (aka 88xx) ships next year. That'll probably be the time for me to strike.
