I like the performance chart at the end of the review as far as grouping the too many SSD models that are being cranked out the door before they are properly validated. The benefit of the chart is that is shows what SSD models are of similar performance.

What the chart doesn't show however is that performance wise, most people would not be able to tell the difference in system performance from the lowest performing SSD to the top-of-the-chart model SSDs. That being said most consumers would be smart to shop for an SSD based on reliability, compatibility, possibly warranty length and cost.

Unfortunately we find out about the reliability and compatibility issues after the newest SSD has been out in service for 6-12 months. By then six or more newer models have been released but we don't know if they are any more reliable/compatible than the SSD models before them that were rushed to market. SSD technology is still an "immature technology" as AnandTech says and it's going to stay that way for quite awhile longer if the SSD makers don't spend more time validating their hardware before dumping it on naive consumers, for great corporate profit.

The SSD makers are cranking out newer versions of SSDs every few weeks so they are having difficulty dreaming out more outrageous names for the SSD-of-the-week...I'll take a wait and see approach to these and all the other "consumer grade", (think rushed-to-market, not ready for prime time), SSDs.

Helpful review. Just wish there was some comment whether the degradation results rank the same for the various SSDs if the size was 120GB for all of them?
