Some sources indicate that WD installs two drives with 7200rpm spindle speed, but WD does not have a 3TB HDDs with 7200rpm spindle speed in its lineup now, therefore, the company either utilizes unannounced hard drives


Wrong, WD3000FYYZ 3TB 7200 64Meg Sata 6Gb/s

Does anybody know if it has a fan?
The 4 & 6TB models have no fan since the drives are 5400rpm
