Min speed matters more then max speed. Who cares if it averages 60fps while looking at the scenery if in the heat of battle when you really need smoothness it drops to 20fps.

It would be nice to read more about any improvements in micro-stutter that both AMD and NVIDIA multi-card configurations have suffered from in the past. That aspect alone keeps me from even considering SLI until it's solved.

Looks like 660Ti is indeed bandwidth starved by its comparatively narrow bus, if adding second one gives more performance @2560x1440 than @1920x1080
