"Unfortunately, AMD did not have a single supercomputer design win with its FirePro S10000" Actually they did, and it wound up #2 on the Green500. Easy to miss this though, I just noticed it myself. http://www.green500.org/lists/green201211

True, but these are relatively slow compared to those on the list of most powerful computers.
Titan is the current #1 computer on the Top500 list and powered by Nvidia GPUs and AMD Opteron processors.
