You guys should have the 680 SOC against the fastest HD7970 - Asus Matrix and pushed it to 1300mhz and see what happens. It would have beaten a 1250mhz GTX680 without any problems.

It's amazing that even an overclocked 1202mhz (1254mhz GPU boost) GTX680 can't even convincingly beat a stock HD7970 Ghz edition. Cats 12.11 added a nice performance boost.
I also think the new triple-slot GIGABYTE GV-N680OC-4GD is better than the SOC card as the 5 small fans are bound to fail quick and are not going to be as quiet as fewer larger fans.
