A couple things, first off I have the lumia 920 in yellow and yes it's awesome. Nokia does need to get on their game as far as getting these phones out there, maybe quadruple the sales would turn into 6x or 8,10,12x the sales if the phone was readily available. I work selling cell phones and have plenty of people coming in every day to order these phones and want it in their preferred color. I end up having to send away multiple people every day because certain colors are not available right now, so again Nokia needs to get on top of this because the equipment is the first step I'm focusing on, get enough of these devices out into people's hands is a must.
Secondly, apps, apps, apps. App's and ease of use, this is what makes phones now, and really, ease of use Windows 8 is the easiest operating system to navigate and customize over IOS, Android, and RIM. So now it's about the apps, I know Windows and even Nokia to an extent is working on this but just keep it up. Talking to programmers they say it's actually easier to make apps for Windows phones than other systems, so what's the holdup? Not enough developers making them yet, why? because the OS and the phones are still new, and because there are not enough people that own those new phones, which again takes me to that first point, get the phones out there. If more phones are there, they will be sold, if more are sold and more windows users are out there than more developers will be encouraged to make apps for the OS. That being said, I'm reading things saying Windows OS is having some months with 20,000+ new apps compared to 1,000-3,000 on others OS's, so this is promising. Final note, the Lumia 920 is a great phone, Windows 8 is a great OS, build more phones, create more apps and then were really talking.
