Watch out Intel, Via's gonna kick your arse big time. Avon just turned white (with a bit of brown - lucky he wore his nappy today).

That's a good win for VIA. I wonder what VIA has to offer over Rockchip and other chip makers. VIA was in quite a few Chinese tablets for a while, but lately I don't see it much, mainly Allwinner at the bottom, then Rockchip, with some Amlogic thrown in.

Maybe a very long and old relationship with ASUS from the time they where No2 in chipsets. I can't think any other reason for ASUS choosing VIA. I only hope VIA to get the money they need to move faster because they managed to stay behind even in the ARM race. I think they are the only one with out a dual core ARM processor and others have moved to quad cores.
