Microsoft is cool again. Apple has lost its mojo with the death of Jobs.

I know you are lying, there was never a Lumia 920 with WP7.5. Studies show that Windows Phone users are much happier with their purchase than Android users. Source http://www.cellular-news....php?ModPagespeed=noscript

A good number of people at my work place tell me WP8 is the most easy to use OS but just that the app ecosystem is weak at the moment. But that should grow with time.

Already mentioned, smaller ecosystem of apps thats why. And its not about being the 'best' its about being easy to use. Some OSes will be preferred by some while others prefer other OSes for something else but the main factor when they really consider buying phones are hardware and the app support.

All OSes do basic functions what they are supposed to do.

Did you recently edit that in ? I thought I saw 920? If it was a mistake then that's fine happens to anyone.

Am asking because you haven't pointed that out earlier to Memristor and you are apologizing which I dint expect.

Little confused here.

And why smaller ecosystem of app?
because no body like to make app for Microsoft any more.

Its a growing ecosystem, they got 35,000 apps in just 2 months thats pretty good for a start don't you think?

Eventually there will be more apps sooner than you think. But that alone wont get market share, its must change people's mindsets and that takes a while.

A while back iOS was all the rage now its android charging ahead. Windows phone 8 will also a place in the smartphone world even if its not a dominant one

The 920 was always a WP8 device. Show me the source to proof me wrong.

I concur I have never seen any claim anywhere that it came with WP7.x to the consumer. It was announced in September of 2012 and it was announced as a WP8 phone.

Yeah, have to call BS on this--920 comes with WP8. WP7.5 isn't even an option.

I got my 920 last year. I love it. I like the 8X even more and would have that instead if it weren't for the camera in the 920.

A very over supplied crowed market place with very little profit left in it. Not the brightest of ideas. Copying other people late in the day is usually a recipe for failure and loosing money. The 1st couple usually make money, but the mobile market is overcrowded with products and types of phones already.

I go to an Apple store, I can use and test their products for hours if I want to, until I discover everything. Something similar with Samsung and other Android phones. Guess what? I really want to try this new Nokia and Windows OS, but all Nokias were sealed in a bullet proof glass, with barbed wire not to be touched. Look but dont touch. And this wasn't an isolated case. I've tried other brand shops and was the same. They wouldn't let you test the new phone. They only have plastic replicas.
And people are asking why the new Nokias are not that popular...
