You use 3DMark to measure CPU performance definitively?
You're kidding, right?
I have both machines, do you?
Did you see this benchmark -

It should give you an idea of the CPU performance. About half of the castrated Celeron B800. Slightly above the Atom.
No one benchmark tells the whole story, but I have both machines, you don't.
The Bobcat is SLOW. It feels slow in everything it does. It's not a proper processor for Windows 7. My old Pentium is WAY faster. It doesn't feel slow. It can be pegged, but almost everything I do with the Bobcat pegs it. I can't even watch Netflix at high res on it. The Pentium? No problem at all. Doesn't even come close.
Trust me, it's a dog. I didn't think it would be, but it is. I got it really cheap though ($85, with 1TB, and 4GB), so it was worth it, but don't be fooled. These aren't mediocre performing chips, they're slow. They're much closer to an Atom than to a Core.
The Jaguar will help, but it's still going to be on the slow side.
I'm not bashing AMD, I have 10,000 shares of the stock, but it is what it is. They aren't choosing this processor for x86 performance. It's poor, and there are better choices.
