Are you flipping joking? You call this a review? Another Microsoft hack? Have you ever turned a chromebook on? The only program this thing uses is the browser as you point out

so that negates your comment

Traditional programs are transitioning to the cloud, such as MS Office 365, ideal for browser based computing. Throws water on your assumptions.

"HTML5 and other open standards, web applications "will soon be able to do anything traditional applications can do, and more". This, however, is unlikely to happen since traditional programs are not standing still."
