You guys really need to start testing latencies, which are as important as fps to the real experience.

Exactly. Why buy the recommended as faster 7970x2 when half the games fail, and the half that don't have every other frame either dropped or runted to a sliver hair thin line on the screen ?
The real fps is HALF what the reported for YEARS fraps says it is.
Sure, the card purportedly GENERATES the frames, but then DROPS THEM before they can be displayed on screen.
60 fps = a jerky 30 on screen with disruptive runts.

deluded blind amd fanboy gamer who can't see his own screen:
"Hey my flagship amd crossfire wins! !! !! Fraps says so !"

What a JOKE amd is.

NV needs a price cut on the GTX680 asap. HD7970GE is now 15-17% faster at 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 with AA, but it costs less. The Titan is also ridiculously overpriced, ending up about 35-40% faster than HD7970GE for a $600 price premium, or a 150% price increase! The card should have cost $699 since it cannot even beat a nearly year old GTX690.

I admit being tempted by the 690. It's fast, it's exotic and for now, unbeaten performance wise. The question remains though, is it worth buying?

I would really appreciate anyone reading this to anwser honestly! While being overpriced, one must consider that the card will still offer premium performance for many years, no? Still...
