Do you have in mind the plan to have a comparison but in a less spacious case? microATX with height restrictions (Thermaltake LANBOX comes to mind) or a miniITX case?

Why wouldn't you test the Phanteks with higher rpm fans instead of guessing is beyond me. I guess sometimes even the best fail against marketing schemes. You used to have more integrity.

Maybe because the Phantek is already making enough noise has he is?

No one ever lost money underestimating the intelligence of PC consumers.

Water coolers like the H100 are quite appealing until the pump fails. You could have a dead fan on a Phantek or an NH-D14 and not even know about it.

I think a look inside the case would do then

Actually, this was the point. No consequence in case a fan fails on a super cooler, but hope that your thermal protection works in case of a pump failure!

First time I am dissapointed with a comparison here.
Why not the Thermaltake 2.0 Extreme yet you used Corsair's best offering? Was the idea for it to be the "only" choice vs high end air coolers? Fishy and not what I expected from xbit labs.

As far as I know the H80i & H100i are not made by Asetek as stated in this article but rather made by CoolIt Systems.

I'd take a liquid to air cooler anyday. Who wants a Kg of metal hanging from their motherboard anyway
