The fact it was released two weeks after Nvidia's announcement means AMD had been through the design and testing phase previously.
It seems Nvidia must have caught wind of this and tried to usurp and undermine AMD's announcement.

That was a horrible review. The purpose of this card is to drive 4K gaming, yet there are no benchmarks for this.

Stating that 'such demonstrations have little practical worth for the majority of users.' is completely untrue, because the author failed to understand 4K gaming.

Nvidia doesn't need to produce more than 6 cards as there are only so many clueless fools with $3000 to burn on a GPU.

Unless you count industry that requires high end cards like Quadro or Firepro

If you are making money working with those card then you are not a fool to buy those cards which are packed with the awe-full and unstable gaming drivers.
FirePro and Quadro cards come with different drivers and actual support, which means that if something does not run as supposed to, you can call them and if it is their fault, they are going to fix it for you, because that's why you purchased a professional graphics card.

Whoever claims that the industry needs a gaming card w/ gaming drivers is either working for nVidia or he/she is just a fanboy/girl.

Oh don't beat down on reviewer... I'm more like, other than one review I've seen, and then done by a site that face it is "pro-Nvidia" the Titian Z is being swept under the rug. Back to this... sure 4K results would be nice but not many sites (or a reviewers) has access to that as of yet. However it would be nice to reach out to a manufacture and borrow such equipment. I would say there should've been a multi-screen set-up rather than 1080p, then drop the Titan Blacks and gotten a pair of 780Ti. I see it hard to do any meaningful "math" without Eyefinity/Surround 780Ti SLI in the equation.
