This is a Typo,Actually the press release meant "athlon xp 2600+" this channeltimes.com is a site of greedy indian dealers who don't know their ram from rom.So they just caught the 64-bit hype and typed in athlon 64 2600+.Amdzone despite their excellence sourced this news from channeltimes.com-a third rate site at best.

Why would any site be saying anything about an Athlon XP. The 2600+ was released a long time ago.

Have u ever been to channeltimes.If u do u'll realize what I'm talking about.Its sad to see international sites like xbit and amdzone relying on a third class site like channeltimes for info.THERE IS NO A64 2600+ AS YET.
