1. 500 GB? Yawn. Try a 10k RPM S-ATA drive first, Seagate.

2. By your statement, you know nothing about the hard disk industry.
Seagate were the first with a 15K rpm HDD. I like to see you design a hard disk that spins 15K but is quiet and cool as a 7200 rpm HDD and have the ability to operate 24/7 and remain extremely reliable. Secondly, why would one cripple their own sales? If they did release a 10K or 15K rpm HDD in SATA, wouldn't that kill their SCSI based sales? So, why don't you think before you even say a word, Yuri. It'll make you look less incompetent. Oh wait, I think you've already achieved that. [Posted by: 22 | Date: 06/16/04]
3. Haha, you're pathetic. A Seagate apologist... (shakes head)
OMG, Seagate were the first with a 15k RPM harddisk! What an achievement. How big is it, 2 GB? Eat me. [Posted by: Yuri | Date: 06/16/04]
4. What a looser, you make a statement from a consumer point of view. Completely arrogant. "22" is right, you know jack all. In fact, your guess of 2GB shows me you know jack all about jack shit. They came in standard industrial sizes. 18GB/36GB/73GB.
You don't think about it from the other end. Look at it from the company point of view. You sell one product with SCSI, say 10K rpm HDD. You sell a cheaper one, also 10K rpm, in SATA. Which do you think would sell more? Why do you think Hitachi, Maxtor, Fujitsu don't make 10k rpm SATA drives? Who's the idiot now? You have no mature come-back except a childish "Eat me". Wow, you even demonstrated "22" your intellect. Stop making Xbit Labs look like idiots hang out here. Why don't you grow the hell up. [Posted by: uioy | Date: 06/17/04]
5. Go back to drooling over that SCSI RAID setup you can't afford, kid.
