--though I realise your subtitle mentions SuperPI explicitly, I should probably comment that it's not mentioned in the text itself, and this is most certainly not the world record for calculating pi to a million places. Actually, I can calculate it myself in under half that time on my lowly 1.8GHz A64, given suitable software. :)
