Old AMD barton core 2500+ @ 1.8GHz

Too bad Boys! You think AMD is sleeping. Well, it all makes the whole story very different now. At the end the customers will benefit by the falling in price of today's majestic processors to the bearest minimum and affordable price. AMD that I know will come out with what you guys are yet to see and make you change the rythnm from Blues to Rock n' Roll. I know they will never give up on the issue of performance to Intel. As for overclocking, it remans a madness off paper that only ethusiats will risk doing. Well, neither AMD or Intel will attempt to advise you to overclock any on their chips for whatever the reson may be. They rather will tell you that you are on your own doing so and will bear no responsiblity for anything that results from such practice. It makes it a senseless effort pusing a product far beyound a rated specification. You guys can only draw these conclusions when AMD releases their copetetion to the market place what eventually will not beat this Conroe chip.
