I think it is a surprise to most AMD backers that the Pentium M/Core Duo line is faster than the Athlon 64. They are still struggling with the reality of the Conroe being faster, and some still deny it, but to ask them to accept the Pentium M line has always been superior, which it has, is really tough for them. These aren't bright people, after all, they are married to a company that doesn't know them.

They did a test on another site with clock normalized processors, comparing the Athlon 64 with the Yonah. The Yonah raped it, despite being a much lower power solution as well. AMD is heading for disaster with their lousy technology. They better do something soon.
