As I have noticed over this German web-site, Hercules wants to sell its biggest fans 99 RADEON 9700 PRO graphics cards that are intended for water-cooling. The water-cooling device or waterblock is pre-installed, the user will only have to purchase the water-pump and pipes.

The novelty will be called 3D Prophet 9700 Water Cooled Edition (WCE) and will have no differences from the ordinary RADEON 9700 PRO based graphics cards from Hercules. The newcomer will be made according to the reference design and equipped with D-Sub, DVI-I and TV-Out connectors. The graphics cards will come clocked at the same 325MHz for the GPU and 620MHz for the DDR SDRAM memory, as the original RADEON 9700 PRO. A software DVD-player and Morrowind game will be bundled.

Of course, the most important “feature” of the novelty is the quantity of the products that Hercules is going to provide. According to the source, the company will only sell 99 of such devices via their online store. The retail cost of one baby is about 550 Euros, but given that there are a lot of fans who like Hercules very much, the price will not become a problem for the vendor.

I would like to point out that those who want to grab this rarity will also have to get a pump and pipes themselves, as a result, no one can guarantee that such system is able to work fine, stable and without water-leaks.
