OCZ Technology Brings Annihilator Water Cooling Kit Into the Market

OCZ Technology unveiled today its first ever water-cooling kit for the hottest spots of every enthusiast’s personal computer – CPU, GPU and core-logic’s North Bridge (MCH). The new Annihilator product from OCZ may become a nice choice for both Intel Pentium 4 and AMD Athlon XP-based systems to cool-down either overclocked or non-overclocked components using not very popular, but, at least, a quiet method.

The OCZ Annihilator Basic comes with end-user’s choice of a quiet or high performance pump, reservoir, radiator, 120mm cooling fan and a copper CPU water-block. A Deluxe kit featuring copper video card GPU and North Bridge chipset water-blocks will also be available. OCZ claims that its Annihilator water-cooling solutions available for Socket 478 and Socket A processors are very easy to install in almost every computer case and do not require any additional details to use.

Pricing of the part is not announced at this time, but it should not be too high, I think. The Annihilator water-cooling solution generally belongs to the family of more or less cost-effective products of this kind, hence, it will not cost too much. As for availability, I think that specialized stores should start to sell the part this month.
