Intel announced plans to discontinue a huge number of older microprocessors that are not in demand anymore and outdated. Evolution continues, as the weakest end their lives, while the fittest continue to go further bringing us digital revolution.

Among the chips who are being prepared to retire, there are Intel Celeron Processor 1.80GHz, Intel Pentium III Processor 1.26GHz with 512KB of L2 cache, Mobile Intel Pentium 4 Processor-M 1.90GHz, Mobile Intel Pentium III Processor-M 1.33GHz, 1.26GHz, 1.0GHz LV, 933MHz ULV and 900MHz ULV.

Officially, all those processors are said to be shipping thorough the year from now, but realistically we fully understand that due to very aggressive ramp of Pentium M and Pentium 4 families in addition to Celeron lineup, we will simply forget about these products in a couple of months.

Well, do you still remember what Socket 370 is?
