Intel Corporation today introduced the new Celeron processor at 2.20 and 2.10GHz, just as we expected several weeks ago. The newcomers are based on the 0.13 micron process technology, the processor utilizes the Socket 478-pin packaging, and features 400 MHz Quad Pumped Bus.

In 1000-unit quantities, the desktop Intel Celeron processor at 2.20 GHz is priced at $103 and the 2.10 GHz is price at $89. Presently price-list on Intel Celeron processors looks as follows:

    - Celeron 1.4GHz - $54;
    - Celeron 1.7GHz - $54;
    - Celeron 1.8GHz - $69;
    - Celeron 2.0GHz - $83;
    - Celeron 2.1GHz - $89;
    - Celeron 2.2GHz - $103;
