Post to SlashdotAMD Athlon MP 2400+ processor runs at 2.0GHz, utilizes 266MHz system bus, provides 128KB of L1 cache, 256KB of L2 cache and, like all its brethren, supports 3DNow! and SSE instructions. The new Athlon MP 2400+ is based on the latest Thoroughbred B0 core and manufactured using 0.13 micron copper process in Fab 30. Systems featuring the AMD Athlon MP processor 2400+ are expected to be available immediately from 47 system builders worldwide.
